A 32-year-old Salem man was arrested for drug offenses after running off the Soper Road in rural Odin late Sunday night.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Steven Bishop of South College told them he had fallen asleep before his vehicle ran off the side of the road. He declined medical treatment from the Odin Fire Department.
Deputies arrested Bishop for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Marion County Jail and was later released on a notice to appear in court.
