The Columbia Lady Eagles are the 1a state soccer champs after a dominating 8-0 win over Johnsburg at North Central College in Naperville. Williamsville shutout Timothy Christian 4-0 for 3rd place.
In Class 2a, St Ignatius Prep won the state title 1-0 over Peoria Notre Dame. Springfield High beat Nazareth Academy in the 3rd place match 4-0.
O’Fallon won the 3a title for the 3rd time in 5 years knocking off Naperville North in double overtime 1-0. The Lady Panthers have KC Blue Angel commit Kaylin Culver. O’Fallon finishes #1 according to Max Preps in the state and #3 in the nation. Also the O’Fallon boys volleyball team was 4th.
Barrington beat Chicago Lane 2-1 in the 3rd place game.
