The Salem Township Hospital Foundation Golf Gala had another successful year on Friday despite a constant light rain for much of the afternoon.
Foundation Chair Myron Lloyd has the results:
“This year, we had 37 teams participate. There were 65 hole sponsors. We’ve raised $25,600. I’d like to also say in the past 24 years of doing this and having this event, $562,600 has been raised for the foundation’s projects to make improvements to Salem Township Hospital.”
Lloyd notes in addition to providing a fun afternoon, it brings those in the community together to support the hospital. He commended Golf Gala Chair Chariya Tawjareon and her committee for their efforts in organizing the tournament.
