The Salem Family Fun Day in the Park is this Saturday.
Salem Recreation Director Jed Casburn says it’s a great day to bring the entire family to the park, starting early at the Salem Reservoir.
“Our Youth Fishing Derby, the Southern Illinois All-Star Club they will start the day off at 7:30 and run till about 10:30. The regular Family Day will be from 10-2 right across from the Aquatic Center. Come out and visit everybody. I’m sure there will be games, crafts, food & water and Kim’s Party Jumps there for the kids.”
Casburn says as always, everything, including the food, is free of charge. The event is also a great way to learn of services available to the community.
