Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say a 27-year-old Iuka man was injured in a single vehicle rollover crash on the 3900 block of County Farm Road southeast of Salem early Wednesday night.
Andrew Pokojski of U.S. 50 told deputies he was traveling southbound when he hit a washboard in the roadway, overcorrected, went into a field and rolled multiple times. He was able to get out of the vehicle on his own and call in the wreck.
Pokojski reported bleeding to the head was under control. United Medical Response was also dispatched to the scene. They took Pokojski to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The crash occurred at 6:23 Wednesday evening.
