The summer season started for the Salem Lady Wildcats who came away with 2 wins at West Frankfort. Reagan Shuler got the win in game 1. Katee Sellers tripled home a run, Izzy Decker also added a triple and Morgan Honerkamp drove in the go ahead run in the 6th.
In the second game, Katee Sellers was the winner striking out 6. Emily Parrett struck out 4 getting the save in her first Lady Cats action. Kendall Zimmerman and Izzy Decker had 2 hits each and both drove in 2 runs.
