The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes trailed St Anthony 4-1 in the bottom of the 7th at the TTown Sectional Championship. But the Shoes came roaring back and walked it off 5-4 with 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th. They advance to the Super Sectionals today at SIUC where they will play DuQuoin at 7pm. The Indians won their first sectional title since 2015 winning at home over visiting West Frankfort 8-4.
In 1a, Waltonville advanced to the 1a Super Sectionals today at SIU after their win at Cobden 2-1 over Steeleville. They will take on Pawnee after their 4-3, 8-inning win over Casey at Altamont.
