A 29-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to three years in prison after his drug court participation was earlier revoked.
Anthony Hernandez of North Hickory received three sentences all to be served concurrently for domestic battery with a prior conviction, possession of methamphetamine, and a petition to revoke his probation on an earlier domestic battery conviction. As part of the agreement, three new charges filed against Hernandez in January for residential burglary, criminal trespass to a residence, and theft were dropped.
Hernandez faced a list of violations of the drug court program, but pleaded guilty to not demonstrating a willingness to participate in a treatment program.
Hernandez was given credit for 78 days already served in jail and was ordered to serve four years mandatory release after getting out of prison. He was also given a furlough until June 4th to report for his prison term. Hernandez will be on GPS monitoring until he turns himself in.
