Today is the IHSA State Bass Fishing Tournament, Day 1 on Lake Shelbyville.
The Salem boat of juniors Lucas Hodge and Zane Barthelemy will try to bring home a state trophy.
They qualified out of the Lake of Egypt Sectional along with boats from Herrin, Anna, Gallatin County, Waltonville, Carterville, Eldorado, Wesclin, Pope County and Benton.
Also competing today out of the Clinton Lake Sectional is the TTown boat of seniors Brody Thoele and Dawson Hoene along with Olney’s Drake Koester and Reid Fancher.
