An abandoned mobile home in Wamac that had been on fire several years ago burned again on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was at 109 Apple Street. All that is left now is a pile of ruble.
The Centralia Fire Protection District with mutual aid assistance from the City of Centralia and Sandoval fought the fire, while Kell Firemen covered the fire protection district station in the event of another fire.
Wamac Police say the home was almost fully engulfed in flames when they arrived at the scene after a passerby reported the blaze.
Firemen were hampered by old clothing and rubbish that filled the home.
The fire call first came in at 12:43 Wednesday afternoon, with firemen clearing the scene around 5:30.
