In Class 1a, the Sectionals open up on Tuesday at Casey Westfield when the SC Lady Cougars, winners of 4 straight regionals, take on Casey Westfield in the second game of the night starting at 6:30. The opening game at 4:30 will feature Edwards County and Windsor/Stew-Stras.
In 2a softball sectional semifinals on Tuesday at Vandalia, Columbia takes on Robinson at 4pm followed by Newton and Gillespie at 5:30. At Murphysboro, Johnston City takes on Anna at 4:30.
