Centralia Police have arrested a 32-year-old Centralia man for arson for allegedly setting a trash dumpster on fire behind Westside Laundry on West Broadway early Saturday evening.
Keenan Ruckman of Clarida Drive was seen in video from the Laundromat allegedly starting the fire with a lighter.
The Centralia Fire Department put out the fire before it spread outside the dumpster.
Ruckman was arrested on Sunday when police saw him walking down Poplar Street. He was taken to the Marion County Jail for arson and criminal trespass to property since he had earlier been banned from the Laundromat.
