Wamac Police have arrested a 30-year-old Centralia man for residential burglary, forgery, and theft. Zachary Higgins of South Cherry Street was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on final charges and a first court appearance.
A 38-year-old Manhattan, IL, resident has been returned to Marion County via prisoner transport. Ashley Scarlett is being held on an outstanding Marion County no-bond felony failure to appear warrant as well as warrants out of Jefferson and Effingham Counties.
48-year-old Amanda Hoffman of South Locust in Centralia was arrested on a Marion County no-bond felony failure to appear warrant and was transported to the Marion County Jail.
