The Salem Lady Wildcats hosted Mattoon and honored their 3 seniors before the game. Bre Thurman, Lilly Blagoue and Nat Lee were announced before Salem beat the Wave 9-2.
Thurman threw an inning striking out 2. Reagan Shuler got the win going 6 with 2 strikeouts. Blagoue went 4-4 at the plate, Thurman and Mya Russell had 2 hits each and Marah Johnson hit her 6th homer of the season.
The Lady Cats will host Charleston today.
