The IHSA Girls State Track meet opens today and runs through Saturday. Salem will be represented by Carly Veach in the 100m hurdles, Hannah Smith in the discus and Findley Puricelli in the high jump.
Also competing will be Centralia’s Adaryah Dabney in the long jump, Sha’Mary Maines-May in the 100 and the Annies 4×100 relay team.
Mt Vernon’s Dezaire Jones will compete in the high jump and triple jump along with Autumn Rudd. Kamaree Pollard will have a busy weekend as she competes in the 100, 200 and 400 along with the Mt Vernon 4×100 relay team.
Christ Our Rock’s Rylee Brammeier will run the 3200.
