New playground equipment is currently being installed in Fairview Park of Centralia.
Although it is a big step forward for the community, the new playground equipment is not ready to be played on. The City of Centralia urges residents to observe the fence that surrounds the equipment and not enter the fenced in area as there is still further construction and equipment that must be installed. Surfacing is planned to be installed, and everything must properly set before it can safely be played on or be on without causing damage.
For everyone’s safety, the City of Centralia asks residents to be patient and stay off the equipment and out of the fenced in area until installations are fully complete.
When installations are complete, a grand opening ceremony will welcome residents to the new playground.
