The Salem Community High School E-sports team competed in the IHSA E-sports sectionals against 24 teams from all around Southern Illinois. The team placed high in most their brackets with two state-qualifiers, Kaden Biagi and Micah Hendricks.

The SCHS E-sports team are now the IHSEA State Valorant 1A Champions, and the IHSEA State Overwatch 2, 1A Runner-Up’s.
IHSEA State Marvel Rivals 1A Top 4 is still competing in playoffs.
