The Salem Wildcats baseball team will hit the road and play at Roxana to finish up the Cahokia Conference. This is a makeup game from earlier in the year. Salem beat Roxana at home the first matchup 3-0. Game time is at 3:45.
On Saturday, the Salem JV snapped a long losing skid with a 3-2 home walk-off win over Odin/Patoka/Sandoval. Salem trailed 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th when Carter Lowe singled home 2 runs. Brody Collier was the winning pitcher giving up no hits and no runs over 3 innings with 8 strikeouts. Keytin Grawe had 2 hits. For OPS, Ben Spencer, Bo Chapman, Jaxon Dykstra nd Kody Burks had hits. The win snapped Salem’s 15 game losing skid.
