A 16-year-old Germantown girl was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Drive-In Road in rural Breese Friday afternoon.

Clinton County Coroner Phil Moss says Macy Haar appeared to be the driver of one of the vehicles.  She was located severely injured in the roadway and had expired before the arrival of emergency help.

Clinton County Sheriff Dan Travous says an additional juvenile female was injured in the crash.  She was taken to a Belleville hospital for treatment.  While her condition is not available, Travis said her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Deputies were able to establish that the crash involved three vehicles, which were occupied by seven juveniles.  Travous says the investigation into the crash is in its early stages and could take months to complete.  He’s asking for the public’s patience as they investigate every detail of the tragic crash.  The sheriff is also asking for prayers for the family and friends of the victim.

The crash was reported at 3:01 Friday afternoon in a call to 9-1-1.  It occurred just north of Rose Acre Farms.
