The 1a baseball & softball regional pairings have been released by the IHSA.
The South Central Regional will open Monday, May 19th with Brownstown and Cisne playing with the winner advancing to the semifinals to take on top-seed North Clay. South Central and Red Hill will play in the other semifinal.
Christ Our Rock will also host a 1a regional. Mulberry Grove and Okawville will play the play-in game with the winner getting Marissa while Christ Our Rock will open up in a semifinal game against Odin/Patoka/Sandoval.
In 2a baseball regional games hosted by Breese Central. Wesclin opens up with Breese Mater Dei with the winner getting top-seed Greenville. Breese Central and Carlyle are in the other semifinal.
At the Newton Regional, Vandalia and Flora will play with the winner getting TTown. Oblong takes on Robinson with that winner playing Newton.
In 1a softball regionals, Christ Our Rock is a host. The opening game will feature Odin/Patoka/Sandoval taking on Metro East Lutheran. The winner will advance to play top-seed Christ Our Rock. Dupo and Father McGivney are in the other semifinal.
At Hutsonville, North Clay will open with Red Hill and the winner advancing to take on 2nd seed South Central. Hutsonville and Oblong play in the other semifinal.
In 2a softball, Columbia is a regional host. Breese Central will be in the play-in game against Althoff with the winner getting top-seed Columbia. Piasa and Wesclin play in the other semifinal.
