U.S. Representative Mike Bost has launched his re-election campaign at the Monroe County GOP Century Club Dinner on Thursday night.
In making his announcement, Bost said he has also received President Donald Trump’s total endorsement.
Bost states President Trump is saving our nation for the second time, and he couldn’t be more thrilled to have his endorsement as they work together to advance the America First Agenda. Bost said in a short time, they have made historic strides in protecting American workers, ending the border crisis, and advancing conservative values, but notes the work is far from over.
President Trump has endorsed Bost for the fifth consecutive election cycle. In a Truth Social post announcing his endorsement Thursday night, the President said Congressman Bost is a tremendous champion for Illinois’ 12th Congressional District. Trump says Bost is fighting tirelessly to strengthen our military, care for our Veterans, stop crime, stand with our brave law enforcement, secure our border, cut taxes, promote energy dominance, and defend our always under siege Second Amendment.
Bost was first elected to Congress in 2014 and has long been a key Trump ally. Prior to being elected to Congress, Bost was a Marine, professional firefighter, small business owner, and State legislator.
