A new law and title office has opened in downtown Centralia.
Sivia Law and Heartland Title and Escrow was welcomed to the community on Wednesday in a ribbon cutting held by the Centralia, Salem, and Jefferson County Chambers of Commerce.
Todd Sivia says Centralia is their seventh office. An office was opened in Mt. Vernon last year, with the other offices located in the Metro East and St. Louis areas.
Sivia explains the types of services they will offer.
“We practice in the areas of business, real estate, and estate planning,” Sivia said. “We really go deep on the estate planning. We really focus in on Medicaid, VA, and setting up people’s life before they pass away. We do a lot of elder law.
Sivia says having the title company in the same location is a good fit.
“During any time that people’s lives transition, whether you’re buying or selling a house, where complications may arise, whether it’s real estate or estate planning related, having a title company tied to a law firm is always a positive.”
Attorney Brandon Niepoetter will coordinate activities at the Centralia office while Karen Piotrowski will head the title company.
Sivia opened his first law office in 2006.
