The Orphans traveled to Mt Vernon for the Rams Invite and a chance for some of the younger Orphans to get some experience heading into the final stretch of the season.
Jace Brammeier was our only first place finisher in Triple Jump with a mark of 41’ 10.5”. Jaitlen White was second in High Jump with a 6’0” clear. Those two sophomores are trying to position themselves to qualify for the IHSA State meet at the end of May.
KaiVeric Bratton ran a new PR in the 200 M Dash going 22.33. The junior is coming off an injury a few weeks ago and is starting to get stronger at the right time of the season. Jaedyn Smith was the other second place finisher in the 300 I Hurdles with a new PR of 43.38.
The Orphans will look to earn some big times/marks at the Collinsville Invite on Saturday.
