Orphans/Wildcats Tennis Match Called Due to Rain With Orphans Up

Centralia hosted Salem in tennis action yesterday with rain cancelling the doubles portion of the match.

Centralia won 5 of the 6 singles matches with wins from Alkis Sekas, Reed Ashford, Peyton Cole, Ethan Samples and Justus Edson.  The lone Salem win came at #2 singles from Juan Diez.

During the doubles matches, the team of Diez/Jarrett Rushing were up 3-2 in the first, Carson Huggins/Kyler Sapp were down 1-6 and Cole Casburn/Kayden Stephens were down 1 set.

The Orphans tennis team will play at Mt Vernon.
