Police Beat for Saturday, May 3rd, 2025

Salem Police arrested a 45-year-old Salem man for violation of pretrial release after he was found hiding in the kitchen of a home where he had been ordered not to have contact with the woman.  Jason Haas of Cottonwood Village was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a Monday court appearance.  Police had originally gone to the area after receiving a report from the area of the woman’s home of three gunshots being heard.  The gunfire was quickly ruled out, but police requested to search the home due to the activity.

26-year-old Jesse Lilly of South Marshal in Salem was arrested on a no-bond failure to appear warrant in a misdemeanor case.

Centralia Police arrested 58-year-old Tracy Behringer of South Walnut Street in Centralia on a no-bond failure to appear major traffic warrant.

Both Lilly and Behringer were taken to the Marion County Jail to await a Monday court appearance.
