Annies/Marion Locked In Scoreless Extra Inning Game
Centralia postponed their game with Marion in the bottom of the 8th with no score in a battle of the conference’s best teams. The game will be finished on May 13. The Annies softball team hosts Flora today.
Carlyle/Chester Game Delayed in 1-1 Tie
The Carlyle and Chester softball game was called in the top of the 4th inning with the game tied at 1-1. That game will be completed today in Chester and then will play their other conference game following.
Lemke K’s 17 In Shutout Of St Anthony
Altamont’s Grace Lemke struck out 17 giving up just 3 hits and Altamont beat St Anthony 3-0. Lemke faced just 23 batters, 2 over the minimum needing just 89 pitches and 69 of those were strikes.
