Salem Breaks Girls 4×100 Record That Stood For 31 Years In 4th Place Overall Finish at Nashville Invite

The Salem girls track team competed at the 25 team Nashville Invitational on Thursday. The Lady Cats finished 4th overall. The highlight of the day was the 4X100 team of Kinsey Jarrett, Eden Gallia, Carly Veach and Finley Puricelli set a new school record in a time of 50.84. The old record was 51.2 and was from the 1994 season.

Puricelli also took 2nd in the high jump and 3rd in the 400. Gallia took 2nd in the 200. The lady cats head to Roxana for conference next Wednesday.
