A 29-year-old Salem man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5th and Pine Street in Centralia early Wednesday night.
Centralia Police say Anthony Hernandez of Charleston Road failed to yield at a yield sign while traveling westbound on 5th Street. He hit the front corner of a northbound vehicle on Pine Street driven by 86-year-old Eddie Myers of Lackey Lane in Centralia.
Hernandez was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. He was also ticketed for failure to yield at an intersection.
Myers was not hurt.
The crash occurred at 6:59 Wednesday night.
