Yesterday the Salem Wildcats traveled to the Carmi-White County Invitational with 11 events finished before lightning cancelled the remaining portion of the meet.
For the Wildcats, Robbie Shober won the 3200, DJ Kauffman won the shot put with a PR throw of 47’4’’ with Silas Lux 2nd. Trey Clark was 2nd in the discus, Madden Thompson jumped 6-2 in the high jump and was 2nd with Avery Gullion clearing a PR of 6-1 to finish 3rd. Holden Richardson won the pole vault and Nate Lowry was 4th with his PR clear of 10’6’’.
The 4×800 relay won by over 21 seconds and included Alex Spencer, Hunter Malan, Caleb Purintun and Payton Gullion.
Lyric Black PR’d in the 100 in 12.17, Jayce Morton in the 110 hurdles in 18.71.
