The Salem Wildcats have moved their conference road game at Roxana from tomorrow to this afternoon. Salem fell to 8-11 on the season with a road loss to Mascoutah on Saturday 8-2. Jalen Inlow, Cody Beard, Noah Nix and Kyler King each had a hit for Salem with Inlow driving in 2. He took the loss going 4 innings of work allowing 3 earned r4uns and 5 hits. Brody Collier pitched the final 2 innings.
Odin/Patoka/Sandoval will travel to Centralia.
Over the weekend, TTown improved to 16-2 with a 13-0 win in five innings over Freeburg. Junior Austin Borries topped 89 mph while throwing just 59 pitches in the win. In the opening game, TTown knocked off Waterloo Gibault 8-6. In the other game, Freeburg beat Gibault 6-3.
Mt Vernon lost to Graves County, Kentucky 5-0. Lucas Ohley had a double for the Rams, Maxwell Nowak singled along with Ryker Perigo, Nolan Mast and Diedrich Smith. The Rams are 5-13 overall on the season.
