The Salem 14u won a pair of games on Sunday over the South Central Storm Chasers.
Salem won the opener 9-2. Jax Schaubert was the winning pitcher giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, one earned, over five innings with 8 strikeouts. Trygg Aaron, Zane Applegate, Owen Tennyson, Schaubert and Bentley Bryan each added hits with Tennyson and Bryan driving in 2 runs.
Salem then won a pitchers dual 1-0. Zane Applegate worked 4 innings of one hit ball. Trygg Aaron pitched the final 2 innings. Colton Tockstein drove in the only run of the game on 2 hits. Applegate doubled, Schaubert had 2 hits.
