The Salem 13u won the Swing for the Rings Tournament going 2-0-1 on Sunday played at the Salem Little League Complex.
Salem won their opener 7-1 over the Steamers. Tanner Purintun had 4 hits in four at bats including 2 doubles. Dakota Gregg allowed 1 hit and no runs over 3 innings. Eli Purdy also had 4 hits and drove in 2. Devan Jennings and Ben Lux also had multiple hits.
Then after a 2-2 tie in their 2nd game, Salem won their finale 9-1. Carter Sullens drove in 2 runs, Purintun, Cooper Burkett, Lux and Vince Krajefska each added RBI. Gregg and Vincent combined for the win.
