State Police arrested six persons during a two-day anti-human trafficking demand suppression operation in the Troy area of Madison County on Wednesday and Thursday. The operation focused on identifying individuals seeking to engage in sex acts with minors.
Those arrested and charged with Indecent Solicitation of a Child (Class 2 Felony), Traveling to Meet a Minor (Class 3 Felony), Solicitation to Meet a Child (Class 4 Felony), Grooming (Class 4 Felony), and Indecent Solicitation of a Child (Class 4 Felony) were identified as:
- 43-year-old Brian Tilson of Highland
- 40-year-old James Walker of Effingham
- 30-year-old Kyle Altevogt of Panama
- 41-year-old Justin Koehnel of Glen Carbon
- 34-year-old Gregory Robinson of Fairview Heights
- 36-year-old Ulises Mendiata-Galindo of O’Fallon
