An 18-year-old Opdyke man has been arrested on multiple counts after allegedly leading a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy on a high-speed chase early Saturday morning.
Jason Poole of Night Lighthouse Road is being held in the Marion County Jail for alleged aggravated fleeing and eluding police, two counts of possession of a stolen vehicle and multiple traffic violations.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports the chase began near Medlin Road and Route 161 East of Centralia. It ended when the car Poole was driving went into a field off Levy Road west of Route 37 and reportedly got stuck.
