Yesterday, Emma Williamson struck out 18 leading Christ Our Rock to a 9-0 win over Marquette.  Emma allowed just 4 hits over her 7 innings of work.  Peyton Jett drove in 3 runs on 2 hits.  Williamson went 3-4.  Lilly Cain, Kylie Nalewajka, Alayna French, Katie Oelze and Liv Torrence each had multi-hit games for Christ Our Rock who will travel to Althoff Tuesday.

Maecee Coleman hit a pair of home runs to account for all of Marion’s runs in their 3-1 victory over Mt Vernon.  Danicah Tobin and Allie Sweeten had 2 hits each for the Lady Rams with Tobin adding a double.  Taylor DeSmith took the loss going 6 innings allowing 3 runs and 7 hits.  Sweeten drove in the lone Mt Vernon run.

Congratulations to Altamont senior Grace Lemke who picked up her 1000th career strikeout yesterday in a 2-1 win over Vandalia and now sits at 1,014.  She is a multi-sport athlete and plans to continue her education while playing softball and volleyball at College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois.
