The Salem Wildcats take their 8-9 overall record and 2-3 mark in the Cahokia Conference Mississippi Division on the road to Freeburg this afternoon. Salem is coming off a tight 4-3 loss to Freeburg on Tuesday in Salem.

The Centralia Orphans trailed 3-0 in the top of the 7th at Mt Carmel, but Deacon Snow drew a bases loaded walk and Drake Fahringer singled scoring two more leading them to a 3-1 victory. Nolan Pryor was the winning pitcher giving up 3 hits and a run over 7 innings striking out 4. Fahringer went 2-4 with those 2 big RBI.
Bo Chapman collected 3 hits as Odin/Patoka/Sandoval beat Webber 111. Chapman added a triple as part of his 3 hit day. Drew Haines was the winning pitcher allowing six hits and a run over six innings. OPS had 16 hits in the game with Chapman, Ben Spencer, Kyan Walker and Haines each had 3 hits. Heydin Purcell and Lance Nix also had 2 hits each.
Eli Prost drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the 7th in a tie game with Breese Central and Mt Vernon walked off with a 6-5 victory. Nolan Mast went 3-4 with 3 RBI for the Rams. Diedrich Smith added 2 hits and Ryker Perigo singled. Smith went 5 innings allowing 4 earned runs with Ty Pierce getting the win in relief. The Rams are 5-11 overall and take their 2-1 South 7 record to Marion today.
St Anthony trailed 4-0 after three innings but rallied to beat Charleston 7-4. Brock Fearday, Aiden Lauritzen and Henry Brent each drove in 2 runs.
