Odin Village and School officials are extremely pleased with the first ever Earth Day Cleanup held on Tuesday.
Mayor Greg Smith says around 75 bags of trash were picked up around the school and selected areas of the community over the two-and-a-half-hour period.
Odin School Principal Quinton Marcum says students also get the school’s garden cleaned up.
The program ended with the Odin School serving lunch to all the participating students.
The idea came from a village board member and quickly came together as an earth day program.
