The Coles County Coroner has released the names of the four people killed in a small single plane crash three miles south of Mattoon Saturday morning.
They are all from Menomonie, Wisconsin are identified as 46-year-old Ross Nelson, 45-year-old Raimi Rundle and 36-year-old Courtney Morrow, and 48-year-old Michael Morrow. The four were pronounced dead on the scene by the coroner.
Illinois State Police are investigating the crash along with the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
The coroner on Saturday indicated the plane may have come into contact with some power lines before the crash on a street in the small Coles County community of Trilla.
