Police Beat for Saturday, April 19th, 2025

Salem Police arrested 26-year-old Jeremiah Meyer of Meachum Road in Kinmundy for felony criminal damage to property after he allegedly threw a landscape brick into one of the large plate glass windows at Toss and Suds Laundromat on West Main Street.   The incident occurred just after five Saturday morning.  The owner had video of the incident.  Police arrested Meyer about two blocks away after he had clothing that matched the suspect in the video.   Meyer was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Salem Police arrested 28-year-old Brittany Finley of West Kell Street in Salem for domestic battery.  Police were called to the West Kell Street address Friday morning, where Finley had allegedly pulled the hair and knocked the alleged victim to the floor.  Finley was taken to the Marion County Jail.
