Police Beat for Thursday, April 17th, 2025

Salem Police arrested 20-year-old Brenton Miller of Roddy Road in Salem for alleged domestic battery when completing a wellbeing check on a woman who turned out to be the alleged victim.  Police report the woman had allegedly been struck and thrown to the ground over a few day period.  Miller was arrested at the scene and taken to the Marion County Jail.

31-year-old Cody Reynolds of South Marion in Central City was arrested by Centralia Police on a no bond failure to appear major traffic warrant.

42-year-old Jeremy Hodges of Shobonier was returned to the Marion County Jail after being arrested elsewhere on Marion and Clinton County no bond failure to appear warrants on major traffic cases.

36-year-old Dustin Johnson of North Avenue in Iuka was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Clay County no bond felony failure to appear warrant.   Johnson was later transferred to the Clay County Jail at Louisville.

46-year-old Benjamin Alvias of Bellevue, Iowa was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on a no bond DuPage County misdemeanor warrant.  He posted $300 bond and was released.
