Christ Our Rock competed at the Herrin Invitational. Landyn Mitchell broke the 15s mark for the first time in his career running 14.94 finishing 2nd to Class 2a Haydan Little of Marion by just 0.02 seconds. Mitchell clipped the final hurdle costing him the win. That also put him out of the 300m hurdles after suffering an injury to his ankle. The time also ranks Mitchell back at the top in 1a this season. He was also 2nd in the triple jump with a PR and 3rd in the long jump. Carson Pigg was 6th in the 3200Wyatt Gregory and Cameron Jones would both match their PRs in the 800, Gregory also would PR in the 1600. Jayden Cushman had a season best jump of 14’5’’ in the long jump.
