A 20-year-old Centralia woman has been charged with aggravated battery, reckless driving and resisting arrest after allegedly hitting a man with her car during a road rage incident early Sunday morning.

Centralia Police say Ahmysa Dixon of Fairway Drive had passed another vehicle on Country Club near Gragg Street and then brake checked it a few times.  A passenger in the other vehicle, Melvyn Crepps, got out to talk to Dixon who reportedly struck him with her car throwing him in the air.  Crepps reportedly broke the back windshield of the car when landing.  He complained of pain to his arm, neck and head, but was not taken to a hospital.

The obstructing/resisting charge is for allegedly trying to avoid being handcuffed when Centralia Police were attempting to take her into custody.  The reckless driving charge is in connection with striking Crepps.

Dixon had the public defender appointed.  Probable cause was found to allow the case to move forward.  Dixon was released on pre-trial conditions until a May 22nd preliminary hearing.
