South Central hosted Breese Central and Woodlawn. They beat Central 15-5 with home runs from Maddi Peddicord and Lauren Johnson. Percy Reid also homered and drove in 3 runs. Kyra Swift had 3 hits including a triple. That was more than enough for winning pitcher Kinlee Thompson who scattered 8 hits and allowed just 2 earned runs with 8 strikeouts.
SC won the 2nd game over Woodlawn also by a 15-5 final. Bri Buchanan homered and drove in 3 and Johnson added 2 RBI. Johnson and Peddicord combined in the circle for the win.
