The Marion County Child Abuse Prevention Coalition is asking the community to join them for a walk around the Marion County Courthouse in Salem on Tuesday, April 22nd, at noon. The walk is to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month. Those attending are asked to wear blue.
With child abuse and neglect affecting thousands of Illinois children annually, the Marion County Child Abuse Prevention Coalition is committed to fostering a safer environment for children through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
The group says all children deserve great childhoods.
