The Lady Wildcats softball team is at the Waltonville Tournament. Lady Cats get a 5-2 win over Murphysboro. Reagan Shuler gets the win on the mound. At the plate Jaelyn Keller led the way with 2 hits including her 1st homerun of the season, Bre Thurman, Marah Johnson, Emma Lipe, Katee Sellers, Kale Benjamin and Nat Lee had hit. Benjamin and Lee drove in a run. Salem is back at it today when we play at the Waltonville Tournament.
South Central fell at home to visiting Newton 16-1. Katilyn Swift, Lauren Johnson and Amelia Montes singled for the Lady Cougars. Maddie Peddicord and Lauren Johnson pitched in the loss. SC will host Breese and Woodlawn today for a 3-team round robin.
