A 40-year-old Centralia man has been arrested Thursday by Salem Police on multiple St. Louis County, Missouri arrest warrants for burglary.

Cory Woolridge of Geary Street reportedly attempted to run from police when they located him on the 1300 block of North Miller.  He was apprehended following a brief chase that lasted only a few seconds.

Salem Police had contact with Woolridge earlier Thursday morning when they received a report of a male possibly overdosing.   He was reportedly stumbling into things.  His girlfriend administered Narcan.  He signed a refusal with United Medical Response and was left in the care of his girlfriend.

Salem Police learned about the St. Louis County warrants before returning about an hour later when Woolridge was allegedly knocking on the neighbor’s door and windows.

After being taken into custody, Woolridge was taken to Salem Township Hospital for medical clearance before being taken to the Marion County Jail.
