Wildcats Fall To Belleville East….Back At It At Home Today Against Breese Central…Prep Scores

The Salem Wildcats will finish their conference series with Breese Central today with a home game against the Cougars.  Salem dropped Game 1 of the 2 game series on Tuesday in Breese 3-2 in 9 innings.

Yesterday, Belleville East scored 7 runs in the opening inning on their way to a 15-4, 6-inning win over the Wildcats at Salem.  Keaton Gullion led the Salem offense going 2-3 with a double, RBI and run scored.  Ryan Detering also added 2 hitsand drove in a run.  Cody Beard and Noah Nix drove in the other Salem runs.  Aaden Rostance took the loss with Cooper Lobek, Keyton Grawe and Cody Beard all working on the mound.

The Salem JV lost 13-3.  Evan Barnes had 2 hits in 3 at bats to lead Salem.  Scout Puricelli, Logan Butts and Kaden Cripps drove in the Salem runs.  Kaeden Bevolo, Landon White and Brendan Smith all pitched in the loss.

South Central dropped their home game with St Anthony 8-2.  Brady Hatton hit a long 2-run homer, Brock Fearday went 2-4 with n RBI and Aidan Lauritzen added a double and drove in 3.  Sor SC, Callaway Smith and Trevan Sidwell drove in runs.  Sidwell, Smith, Chase Guerrettaz and Maddux Robb combined on the mound.

Odin/Patoka/Sandoval will travel to Waltonville.
