Franklin Park hosted Nashville, St Mary’s, Odin and Patoka to Jim Finks Field. The Bobcats achieved 10 state standards and Emily Parrett broke the school record in the shot put throwing it 36-ft 9.5-inches, breaking the previous mark by over 9 inches.
Also reaching state standards on Tuesday were Kylan Cassidy and Elijah Swieca in the boys shot, Owen Tennyson and Cassidy in the boys discus along with Braelan Knaak and Parrett on the girls side. Teagan Lobek won the pole vault with a state standard clear, Owen Tennyson and Kenna Benjamin in the high jump. Also achieving state standards were the 7th grade 4×200 team of Teriet, Washington, Mickens and Lux along with the girls team of Malan, Pennypacker, Biegeleisen and Benjamin.
