South Central lost to Vandalia in an 8-7 walk off. Kyra Swift led SC with 3 hits including a double. Kinlee Thompson drove in 2 runs with RBI also from Kaitlyn Swift, Lauren Johnson and Amelia Montes. Maddie Peddicord started the game going 3 innings with Lauren Johnson working the final 3.2.
The Centralia Annies softball team also travels to Carbondale in conference play.
