The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats will play at the SIJHSAA Class L state tournament in Pinckneyville today. They will open at 11am against DuQuoin at the same time Millstadt and Hamilton County play. The other quarterfinal matchups are Wolf Branch against Carterville and Wesclin plays Massac County.
The Class S Tournament is at Herrin and will feature a field of 16 teams. The day begins at 10am with New Simpson Hill taking on St John Smithton and St Andrew plays Irvington/North Wamac/Grand Prairie. Then at 11am, Selmaville takes on Cisne while Egpytian plays St Mary’s Catholic. At noon, Ewing Northern plays Trinity Stewardson and Summersville plays Germantown. Then at 1pm it’s St Teresa Catholic playing Steeleville and Field plays New Athens.
The Class M Tournament is at Nashville and opens at 9am with Nasvhille and Immaculate Conception, then NCOE and St Clare O’Fallon at 10, Pinckneyville plays Goreville at 11 and then the final first round game is Aviston and Smithton at noon.
